Herr W work again on his mod but this time, he's making it on the Quake 4 engine. Some months earlier, i've shown you what he had done on Q3. Robinson Crusoe will come back on this little island to fight against monkeys. You will be able to download this map to try out this original alpha mod.

Q4F continue to show its gameplay trhough small videos. This time, it concerns the engineer class and the team colors. The engineer will be able to construct and upgrade turrets to destroy the enemy. The second video shows the team colors changing. When you choose a color for you and the enemy it changes the players colors but also the environment colors. Fine, it will help.

Quake 4 Fortress released two small videos showing two new integrated classes: the pyroman, who really likes burning your ass and the spy whose favourite game is to make the enemy thinks he's with them.
Just look at this videos to look at the fine fire effects and morphing effects.
By the way, the dev team is looking for people who could help them to pay their server ... they're poor and need some donations.

Here comes some new top quality concept cars that the dev team will integrate with an upcoming gamecode and new animations.
The concepts are somehow beautiful and i hope they'll be well used by the modelers and mappers.

The development has a bit slowed down but there is a great news : near april there will be a demo that beta testers could test. If you want to, just go on the page below.
This demo will feature all the TF classes (with all abilities, weapons, and items), 4 maps (remakes of forts, hardcore, mach, and bases), and some new models, textures, and sounds.
By the way, they're still looking for teammates.

Concerning new content the Domination Mode has been finished by our Coder NightWulf including the User Interface. Our new Concept Artist Backslapper drew some awesome concepts for our Buggy and also some anti-vehicle guns.
Freakman, michi.be and the new mapper Toireht who came from the cancelled DooM³ Mod "Hell on Earth" are mapping the redesigned "Mars Assault" Level to get our first UACW_Test release rolling out to the community as soon as possible.

After some internal team change, The mod is back on its feets. H.Reaper & MaX are now leading the mod with their all-mighty whips.
Well, except that and some fight the mod had on our shootbox (well, in the french part. Like someone would post in the english part hahahaha), we don't have much updates. Well, if we except this nice set of images. Cool monsters, powerful rifls, make me remember of my grand-mother.
Normally, we should have more news after a little fix... We still don't know why.

The first version of Rocket Arena for Quake 4 is out :

The first map being showed on the homepage is named Mach. It should be included in the first version of the mod.

I rather play a domination MP game than a Deathmatch ... and this is why this mod is a good news for me. In a couple days, they will release a first version that'll add Domination mode to Quake 4

Since they are moving from D3 to Q4, they have to redo or at least modify some of their work in order to make it work under the new game...
